The original purpose of this site was to finance a Leica M9 and a lens for myself. For a while I hoped that I should be able to do the same for someone else too. Unfortunately, it later became clear that this is probably not going to happen. In fact, I'm still a long way from fully financing my own camera - despite all the generous contributions so far.

To avoid any confusion and disappointment, I've decided to remove the "Me too!" offer.

As previously stated, this was not a lottery or a competition. I hoped be able to give away a second M9 as a gift, if I could. Unfortunately, I can't. Now, in the extremely unlikely event that Leica or some eccentric millionaire decides to give away a couple of M9s, we're back in business - but don't hold your breath. I already have several worthy candidates for that second give-away camera, by the way...
